Celebrate Good Times C'mon! (day 1)

Last night Nora, Nate, Aaron and I went to the Town Talk Diner for a little celebratory feast of cheese curds and fried pickles (frickles). Also, Tuns is probably more enthusiastic on the inside.

Nate is Now Totally a Lawyer

Nate has just been sworn in to the Minnesota Bar! The ceremony was great, and the judge talked about how smart Nate is and how next year he can make the motion to the court for Nora to get sworn in (awww how cute). Congratulations to Nate aka my personal defense attorney for life.

The Other Job

For people wondering what my other job is, I occasionally work at my relative's restaurant in the Union Depot building. Its a massive gorgeous building that is hard to capture in one photo. Also shown are some of my super professional colleagues.

Electioneering

On Tuesday, Nora and I went to see Bill Clinton! Obviously I'm voting for Colbert, but it was fun to see Bill anyway.

A Band Not Suitable for Googling

Last night, thanks to my friend Ben(!), I saw an outstanding show (Canadian Indie Rock, naturally) at First Ave. Neko Case's voice is amazing and there was even a reference to Power Station during some in-between-song-banter! Also, after regretting not buying an awesome poster, I emailed the famous local poster designers this morning and they wrote back and said they would make it available for purchase on their web site soon! Holy Excellent Tuesday!

False Alarms

Today at our office (aka Dunder Mifflin Como) we had some fire alarm testing, and coincidentally Conan Obrien had a similar, though admittedly funnier one, yesterday:

(PS. This proves for the jabillionth time how much more talented he is than Jay Leno. Leno would have talked about old cars and made really obvious jokes based on word association, such as "I thought it was getting hot in here! Am I right?!")
