A Blog Entry for the People

People, I am obsessed with the internetz. Below are some things that you might enjoy. First, one of the best videos by strikers about the writers' strike:

Next, from the local news, the worst car you could hit while drunk driving is probably a cop car...maybe a cop car that is in the process of giving a DWI. A Saint Cloud, Minnesota lady did just that! Click here to read more!
Somehow colorblind people have taken over Pantone offices (what color are their walls?!) and chosen the "Color of the Year" for 2008. At least its not mauve right? Click here to see and read about it.
And now for more local news, a surgeon photographs a tattoo while inserting a catheter, and now the patient is suffering from a lack of a sense of humor. Click here to read about it!
Now for laughs, a list and portraits have been compiled of 50 animals that have day jobs. Click here to see the entire list.

Questionable Food / 10,000 flakes

The first person to sign up for the holiday party pot luck is bringing the vaguely titled Minnesota classic. Pictured below is the snowy office courtyard.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Stop Please

After waiting an hour for a bus in a snowy sh*tstorm during rush hour, I got home and heated up my tootsies, which I couldn't feel, with my hairdryer. Leonard, a guy who rides my bus, goes "Welcome to Minnesota!"

In other news, Happy Birthday Mom!!! You're the best mom in the world!!

The Boyz Are Back in Town

If you leave your chair, Desmond will take it. Also he loves red wine.

Dustin finally got back from his T-givs trip, and at first things were tense...the boyz were warring:

But later everything was okey dokey.

Two Things

1. EP (my hometown for you non-MN readers) won the football state championship again (snore!). The best quote from the article is this: "Domination? You can't spell it without an E and a P." ... wow. I can't help but notice that you also can't spell creEPy without an EP.

And 2. Seriously there are this many crunchberries in cap'n crunch these days?! Whoa.

"Don't Put This on Your Blog Heidi"

Aunt Joie and Uncle Moose (aka the awesome T-Givs hosts that fed me and the other abandoned cousins and friends) are like Brangelina and Joie wants everyone to know that she got dressed first, they didn't like plan to wear matching clothes on purpose. Joie+Moose= Joose or Moie, either one works. Some fun facts about them: Moose and I have the same birthday, Joie makes a SUPER good mac and cheese from scratch, I thought Moose was his actual real name until like 2 years ago, Joie is hi.lar.io.us, and Moose is a Republican! Celebrate diversity on the holidays, right?!?

I love them and love that they love being on this blog!

T-Givs 07

Stef brought those buns, I had two and they were good. Meg made a tasty app and later on people ate my pumpkin pie. Cousin Drew ate like half the turkey.

Baked

In preparation for Thanksgiving, Nora and I made Pumpkin pies. There was leftover pumpkin mix so we tried to make muffins but they ended up more like flavorless dumplings... and that is the story of how I invented Pumplings!

Thunder Hands

Vampire Hands mixed with Thunder in the Valley played a 70s show at the Hexagon on Monday and Chris did an amaaaaayzing version of Without You ("I can't liiiiiiive if livin is without youoooo...")
